The Team

Sarah Whittington graduated from the University of Kansas in 1986 with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree and has been a registered Architect in Colorado since 1995. Looking for a recreational town where she could establish her practice, she moved to Salida in 1993 with her husband Mike. Sarah has worked throughout Chaffee County and the surrounding area, specializing in custom designed homes and local commercial projects. Working extensively in the Salida Historic District, Sarah has helped rejuvenize the commercial viability and the character of the downtown. Sarah’s firm puts strong emphasis on environmentally conscious design that reflects the style and feel of the surrounding community while addressing owners’ unique concerns and budget.
